GENERAL ELECTRIC
GE est une entreprise diversifiée, opérant dans la haute technologie, les médias et les services financiers et dont les produits et services améliorent la vie quotidienne.

Johnson & Johnson

GENERAL MOTORS
General Motors Corp. (NYSE: GM), the world's largest vehicle manufacturer, employs 340,000 people globally in its core automotive business and subsidiaries. Founded in 1908, GM has been the global automotive sales leader since 1931.

GM today has manufacturing operations in 32 countries and its vehicles are sold in more than 190 countries. In 2002, GM sold more than 8.6 million cars and trucks, nearly 15 percent of the global vehicle market. GM's global headquarters is at the GM Renaissance Center in Detroit.

The GM Group of global partners includes Fiat Auto Spa of Italy, Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., Isuzu Motors Ltd. and Suzuki Motor Corp. of Japan, which are involved in various product, powertrain and purchasing collaborations. In addition, GM is the largest shareholder in GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co. of South Korea.

GM also has technology collaborations with BMW AG of Germany and Toyota Motor Corp. of Japan, and vehicle manufacturing ventures with several automakers around the world, including Toyota, Suzuki, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp. of China, AVTOVAZ of Russia and Renault SA of France.

GM's automotive brands are Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Holden, HUMMER, Oldsmobile, Opel, Pontiac, Saab, Saturn and Vauxhall.

In some countries, the GM Group distribution network also markets vehicles manufactured by GM Daewoo, Isuzu, Subaru and Suzuki.

FORD
Ford Motor Company is the world's second largest producer of cars and trucks in terms of revenues and units sold, and one of the largest providers of automotive financial services. They market the vehicles under the eight brands. During 2002, they made 7 million vehicles and employed 350,000 people worldwide. They business partners include 28,000 dealers and more than 10,000 suppliers. They subsidiaries - Ford Credit and Hertz - provide financing and leasing services to retail and fleet customers. Quality Care, Motorcraft and Extended Service Plan provide customer service support to they dealers.

Asia-Pacific is expected to account for over half the growth in the global auto industry in the next 10 years, and almost half of this will occur in China. They plan to participate profitably and responsibly in China's automotive market and have plans in place to expand in well-measured steps.

Cargill in China .
Cargill Incorporated is an international marketer, processor and distributor of agricultural, food, financial and industrial products and services with 98,000 employees in 61 countries. The company provides distinctive customer solutions in supply chain management, food applications, and health and nutrition.

Cargill' s trade with China began shortly after President Nixon's visit in 1972. Currently, Cargill sells grains, oilseeds, steel products, sugar, fertilizers, fruit juices, meats and other commodities to China while buying Chinese commodities such as cotton, steel, sugar, apple juice and corn.

In 2000, Cargill-China trade amounted to more than US$800 million: US$550 million in Cargill sales to China and more than US$250 million in Cargill purchases from China. Cargill also operates 18 facilities in China that produce and distribute animal feeds and fertilizers in the domestic market.
